My boys were in one line and my daughter and I were in another. #LITTLE TYKE ROLLER COASTER SERIAL#I liked Serial Thriller at the former SFWoA (didn't think THAT was head-bangy), so I figured I'd try my luck with this one. Sure, it looked mean and head-bangy, but I was going to give it a try anyway. This is where it would behoove you to remember what I asked you to early on in this post.about our prayer earlier in the day. Here's an excerpt from one of my TR's covering our "East Coast Blitz" whereby we hit every SF park from NY to Jersey (travelling from Indiana mind you on a HOLIDAY weekend!): > What's the worst ride (flat or coaster) accident/break-down On the Sky Ride when wind was shutting down the ride last year Jas the cabins were swaying and I was the 3rd to last cabin out when they were emptying the cabins heading to the station toward the front of the park when the track handle to move to empty the line failed and they had cabins stack all the way to the end of the station and the five cabins on the line for about 20 minutes.Īnd numerous others in my experience but those were the interesting things. But then we had to exit right there and walk back to the queue lines and had about a 20 minute delay. TTD right in launch position had the engine rev up noise the arms down and head back speech and then nothing for about 5 minutes or it seem like forever since we were talking about nobody wants to look back if we may go. Wild Cat on one of the many brake run tracks around the 3rd on I think that was a inserting walk down that ride. Long fun and on the breezy side of a walk down the hill with the rain starting getting in the station. Magnum due to a lighting strike we were about 10 feet from the top of hill. Son of Beast on the hill and had to get off from there. There version of a corkscrew at the hill had to exit since the shoulder harnesses locking device failed going up the hill. Lets see at if anyone can remember Boblo Island. Betcha didn't know that rhino's can jump a couple feet in the air did ya? :P Scariest thing I ever had there was watching the rhino get spooked by a lightning bolt hitting nearby just as I was passing him. Though when I worked at Rhino Rally I had to help a couple of evac's there, and had one incident where my Land Rover hit a rock, but that wasn't much of a big deal. Outside of a couple of brief stoppages, including about a 10 minute one on Legend at SRM in 2002, I haven't experienced to many breakdowns. We took the tickets and headed off to something else. They gave us the option of riding again or getting our tickets back (told you it was a long time ago). When they finally got us going again it seemed like we crawled down the mountain. We were there around 45 minutes, waving at all of the monorail trains as they passed us by. Not the most comfortable, but not horrible either. We were coming out of the mountain on the monorail side and stopped while leaning at about a 30 degree angle. Worst one I've been on was the Matterhorn at Disneyland, way back when I was a kid. What's the worst ride (flat or coaster) accident/break-down you've been involved in? Needless to say there were some VERY distressed passengers on board. All our eyes were watering and our heads were like mega red and veiny. Stuck like that for that time really hurt, not being able to get your head up was bad with all the pressure building. I timed how long it took until we were fliped back up the right way, about 6 and a half minutes. #LITTLE TYKE ROLLER COASTER FULL#The whole ride was holding it's full load of passengers completely upside down. Problem was, it stopped while we were upside down. As the thread subject sugests.the ride broke-down, with us and a full load of riders. We were on the first run of the day with passengers. It's a top-spin type flat, i couldn't find a good picture of it, but it's almost identical to the wipe-out at dreamworld. I was at my local park (Adventure World) the other day and rode a flat ride called the Rampage.
